Just watched this summer’s blockbuster hit - Transformers. It was the latest live action film based on the popular Transformers universe. The movie was directed by Michael Bay (who also directed top hits like Pearl Harbour, Bad Boys series and Armegeddon) and was produced by the famed Steven Spielberg (Director of Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, War of the Worlds).

Personally, I think that this film rocks! It’s cool, especially those redesigned autobots/decepticons. Despite of that, the entire movie was entertaining. There were lots of funny scenes. Though humorous, it does not ruin the heart-beating atmosphere of the movie and this was a feature which Michael Bay had done pretty well. His ability to get the balance of the ambiance should be credited. The movie employs tons of special effects… Mostly are productions of Industrial Light & Magic (ILM, famed for the visual effects creation for Star Wars movies). The effects were real cool… Not forget to mention that, robot characters were also rendered by ILM. And know what, they spent thirty-eight hours rendering each frame of the computer generated characters!!! o_O

Seems to be a “Wow! Wow!” movie? Hmm… However, the ending part was quite disappointing as the scenes were quite rush and jumbled. Anyway, the movie was overall a success still… Story outline was quite clear and the motion effects were high class! So, if you planned to watch this movie hit, hope you would enjoy it! Ahh, my favourite autobot is… Optimus Prime!
