If you went to PC Fair II @ Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, you would probably noticed that there were few booths decorated in red and other figurative colours with the name “Tomato Flash“. For your information, it was actually a new player in the competitive Flash Memory market! Tomato Flash was born with the collaboration between LiteOn & Samsung! That’s right! LiteOn was famous with their optical drives while Samsung was of course the leading manufacturer of Flash Memory. The new brand came out with the idea to redefine the coldness and clumsiness of Hi-Tech product.

For me, I do love their overall branding look. Their concept was very interesting. Here’s a quote from their official website: “Tomato is one of the vegetables/fruits* that happened to be seen daily, which means tomato is as close as part of everyday life and which everyone is so familiar to. Moreover, the word ‘Tomato’ has crossed the culture and language barriers, even a child can easily remember and pronounce. In relation to Tomato Flash, we aim to listen, explore and assist every customer’s needs closely.” Their logo is also attractive and full of energy (Because tomato = nutrition *Keke*). I love their colours too… Red, orange and yellow of tomato… very youthful, warmth and friendliness.

Regarding their products, I would say that they are cool! They produces a wide range of memory cards, including CF, SD, MiniSD, MicroSD, MMC Cards and also Memory Sticks!! Wow… there’s not much 3rd party manufacturers for MS out of the original Sony! Only SanDisk came into mind. Their USB ThumbDrive and Card Readers are aesthetic too… White/Grey finish with orange touchings… Nice combination! Not forget to mention that, they provide lifetime warranty and water proof for their entire range of products!

Hmm… I bet this brand would catch lots of attentions from IT Geeks due to their branding strategy and products. So, wanna get 1? Haha… But dun get me wrong! This is not an advertisement or advertorial! I also won’t post their product prices as you know, memory prices fluctuates… Just a new goody to share wif ya’ all!
