Dell Inspiron 1435/1535/1735 Teaser + New Artistic Design Patterns
Written by Ph@ntoM on May 28, 2008 – 12:15 am -OMG! Dell is going to reveal their new line of Inspiron notebooks! It’s so darn fast wei! Just about 1 year they launched their hot 1420, 1520, 1525, 1720 series and now… 1X35 series with totally new designs! From the leaked pictures, it seems that the new design was based on the recent XPS platform! Guess what? They implemented slot-in disc drive this time just like the XPS! Their keyboards is likely to have a very similar design like Sony’s CR series! But not too sure judging from the leaked pics… Also, they have the L-shaped lid design that was quite common on notebooks nowadays! In addition, they have new lid pattern design and colours! typically Orange that looks quite refreshing! Overall quite impressive… Scheduled to be out sometime around end of May till October…

Pics and news from Enagadget.com
Dell is also starting to put a lot of efforts on their laptop design, typically lid designs in order to compete with the like of… HP perhaps? We do saw some really cool designs from HP, especially their special editions… Now Dell is coming up with a similar approach! Rolling out customized designs collaborating with a N.Y street artist - Mike Ming. Dell launched two design patterns for the Inspiron 1525 Mike Ming Special Edition, “Sea Sky” and “Bunch O Surfers” drawings. It looks quite cool on the Inspirons… just like my “Chill” design, but with more vibrant colours… Hehe… Not sure will it be available at Malaysia… But anyway, it was indeed a really good thing offered by Dell.

Written by Ph@ntoM on May 24, 2008 – 4:07 pm -Microsoft had launched a new innovative service called SkyDrive to the Windows Live community! It could be your personal online storage with up to 5GB of capacity! You can store your personal PDF, Office documents, Mp3s, Photos, Videos and etc… You could even share files within your community! via Windows Live Spaces or even your Windows Live Messenger (a.k.a MSN) account.

Written by Ph@ntoM on May 10, 2008 – 8:08 pm -Circulating for months, the rumored replacement model for the decade-old Perodua Kembara has finally landed… It’s the all new 4WD - Perodua Nautica! And guess about the price tag… It’s RM89,900 inclusive insurance… hmm… interesting… In fact, Perodua claimed that the beast was mostly assembled in Japan! with several parts installed locally… Wow… It’s truly an unexpected approach… This means the car is an imported version of a Perodua car… or should be called as re-badge version? The car is identical to Toyota’s baby 4WD - Toyota Rush in many ways… Just that differences in front grill and bumpers, headlamps/taillamps as well a shorter wheelbase… The car comes with a 1.5L DVVT engine, same as the Rush as Avanza 1.5! I think the Perodua Nautica is going to be an interesting car, or perhaps a good alternative for those who wishes to buy something similar to Toyota Rush or Avanza but in favor of the “IMPORTED FROM JAPAN” tagline (Avanza is locally assembled… at Perodua’s plant! while Rush is built in Indonesia!)…
