Okay. This is a delayed post. About a week or two earlier, we went to Mid Valley to watch the highly anticipated chinese epic movie of the year - Red Cliff… I could say that it is an awesome movie to watch (Another was The Dark Knight which was also a great movie to watch). Excellent story… Great cast and also… Stunning movie effects… Though not so many CGI effects compared to LOTR, Start Wars etc… but the scenes were absolutely stunning. Being a “Three Kingdoms” fan, watching this movie is really enjoying.

After the movie session, it’s dinner time… Well, we don’t really have any ideas where to have our dinner… until SC suggested that we should try out a new concept restaurant with Taiwan Cuisines at The Gardens. Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant was the precise name and it was quite popular as we need to queue up for our table turn. We were quite amazed by the foods displayed in their menu… Though not very much variety, but quite “rich” in the presentation of the foods. We settled down after quite a long wait… We ordered a Taiwanese Tempura and “Meat Ball” as appetizers. Well, the Tempura was quite good… but we don’t really fancy of the “Meat Ball”… Haha…

I ordered Taiwanese Chicken Chop Set which came in a large portion! Wow… Taste-wise, it’s quite nice… chicken is crispy and side dishes were good. King goes for the Fresh Tomato Fish Set which was excellently flavored… Alex had the Sweet n Sour Spare Ribs which was good also… SC preferred the BBQ Drumstick which was also very nice… Overall, their dishes were good. Portion is generous and price-wise… I think it’s pricy a bit but still acceptable… I can say that it could be one of the cheapest place to dine in The Gardens… LOL! Well, that’s about this outing… Oh yeah… Fong Lye is situated at the 3rd Floor of The Gardens… It’s their 3rd outlet where the other two were at Imbi and Desa Sri Hartamas.
