Dell Launches Studio Hybrid Desktop PC

After launching the Studio line of laptops, Dell followed up the new Studio line of products by launching the new Studio Hybrid small-form-factor desktop PC. The new Studio Hybrid is a magic box! Check out more after the jump!

The new Dell Studio Hybrid comes with 6 truly stylish colors in option plus a unique “Bamboo” pattern design option for you to choose! The style of the computer is revolutionary… It is in oval cylindrical shape and is 7.8 inches wide(placed horizontal)/tall(placed vertical) and 2.8 inches thick. It is versatile and can be positioned in either horizontal or vertical way. The color panels are translucent! I think this reminds me about the iMacs launched by Apple couple of years ago… Anyway, it’s absolutely awesome in design.

Spec-wise, I initially thought it was powered by the new Intel Atom CPU… But I was wrong! The new Studio Hybrid was powered by the new Penryn based Intel Core 2 Duo! Too bad of because of its small form factor, only integrated graphics included. The new machine has a slot in type DVD writer and was equipped with at least 250GB SATA HDD. Somemore, Dell claimed it to be the greenest PC of all… made by 95% recyclable materials, and up to 70% lesser power consumption compared to traditional desktops! Wow… It’s sleek… but when looking on its price tag, it’s a bit pricey… RM2899 for C2D T5750, 1GB DDR RAM spec… Hmm… Anyway, it’s good to see Dell launching promising new products and is keen on continuous improvements.

Looks good and promising. Seem like they are trying to follow Mac’s concept of having a compact PC.

From what I was told. Dell’s products are worth every penny.
