Journey of Macau/Hong Kong (Macau) Part 6

Written by A-lex on February 5, 2009 – 5:19 am -

Finally, 2nd day of our trip, wonder when can I finish it. Darn it.. Gonna ask Ming Yuan to help.

So, start off with some bathing, brushing, packing and preparing before we went for breakfast. What we gonna do today, go to wherever we can in available time and get some souvenirs *in the end we manage to get some cookies only*. After that, take a ride over the water and land in Hong Kong.

So, we went to this place to have breakfast.

There you go, the café’s name.

A very simple western-style-breakfast consists of bread, cheese, minced meat and cup of drinks.

Theirs egg tart is nice. The custard is soft and sweet, the skin layers… wooo… crunchy, soft, great balance created not so hard but is fullness. Go there to try when you are at Macau.

So, we went back to Senado Square to get some souvenirs. Before that, we went for some desserts. You know la… Those breads and egg tarts is just not enough for the four of us, and we wanted to try their unique dessert that Malaysia do not have. Lame, right? Who care…

The restaurant name is 义顺牛奶公司 or 義順牛奶公司. Direct translation Yee Shun Milk Company. Weird name, right? What you don’t expected is they selling dessert made of milk, not a company doing milk business.

Here you go, this is what we have, you can try the others which available on their menu.

Desserts finished and off we go to buy some souvenirs. After an hour of wondering around, looking around and getting what we want, we headed back to our hotel.

Now, when we were somewhere near the McDonald’s and Starbucks, we saw a crew of people setting something, filming setting we guess and we look around see whether we can spot someone. By the time, I, Alex, turn my head to the right. This man, who married to a model, received numerous nominations, awards and a world class actor was standing next to me. I was not sure who he is as I split out his name in a no-100%-sure-who-he-is telling my friends. So, we decided to stop and see who he is.

OMG!

He is really who I am thinking of. And then my other friends spot the director for the film production, Johnnie To (杜琪峰).

AnotherOMG!

Who we saw. HE IS WHO WE SAW!

Yea.. Yea… We are so lucky to able to see some celebrity running on the street or doing some gigs. How often does that happen? Go do your own calculation.

We want to stay to see what’s happening but we have a boat to catch and other places to go so we left. We took hotel’s provided bus shuttle and headed to the harbor. We bought our tickets and deposit our luggage and we off to a tourism spot just next to the harbor.

Here we are and let snap photos kau kau!
